China host the 2016 Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Sept. 4-5, Hangzhou

China will host the 2016 Group of Twenty (G20)summit in the eastern city of Hangzhoubest knownfor its scenic West Lakeon Sept. 4-5, President XiJinping announced here Monday.

Its theme will be "Building an innovative,invigoratedinterconnected and inclusive worldeconomy," Xi said while addressing a working lunchduring the just-concluded 10th G20 summit in thisTurkish resort city.

China's preparationsXi told world leaderswill be focused on innovating upon growth patterns,improving global economic and financial governanceboosting international trade andinvestmentand promoting inclusive and interconnected development.

"We need to increase the representation and voice of the emerging-market economies anddeveloping countries (in global governance), so as to enhance the capabilities of the worldeconomy to resist risks," the president said.
